My ultimate fantasy - no not that kind of fantasy - is to just pick a direction and start driving. Leave everything behind and just go. Start heading west with no destination in mind until I run out of money or land.
Wouldn't it be fantastic to just throw away all responsibilities? Mortgage? Who cares! Job? I'll find another one. Family? Friends? They'll understand.
To be completely carefree. To have no one expect anything of me and not to have to worry about what anyone expects of me would just be an amazing feeling.
But in the end, it's a total fantasy. I do not have it in me to throw everything away that I've worked hard to achieve. But the thought is occasionally tempting. . .
