Blair Style - Red Dress

Anyone who knows me knows that I love the show Gossip Girl. The show itself it's that great in terms of acting or storylines. But I love the character of Blair Waldorf. She's so delightfully bitchy. And she has the BEST clothes. For me, it's worth watching just to see what she will wear.

In last week's episode she wore the most awesome red ballgown. It's a dress that I will never have an occasion to ever wear (or anything even remotely like it). But it's awesome.

Liberty of London

I am obsessed with Target's new Liberty of London collection. It's awesome because I cannot afford anything at the actual Liberty of London store so the Target version is perfect!

Unfortunately most of the collection is already sold out. Almost everything is sold out online. I was however able to find a few things in the store.

I bought this really cool picture frame which I am saving for when I have a picture of Mike and I. I guess this means that I actually have to take a picture. I hate having my picture taken so this is rough. I swear I'll be the only bride who wants to not have a wedding photographer. . .

Anyway, I also bought a really cool sun hat to bring on vacation.





And then I decided that since I now have a wedding plan to organize, I am going to be organized in style! I bought file folders and a box to keep everything in.


Might as well take advantage of necessity! :)

What's Awesome Now? Alexis Bittar

Lately, I've become obsessed with the jewelry of Alexis Bittar. I love his style - it's so different. I wear a lot of dark, classic style clothes and Alexis Bittar's jewelry adds some color and fun to my outfits.

Last Christmas, my parents gave me these earrings which are amazing. They are so modern and fun. I love them.

Then, I bought these earrings on sale. They are more ornate than what I usually go for but they are a lot of fun. They brighten up some of my darker colored outfits.But Alexis Bittar makes other really cool stuff. Most of it I cannot afford like this necklace.

But, luckily his stuff does go on sale. I'll just have to keep my eye out.

All of his stuff is awesome. And what I love most about it is that the jewelry is so light! Usually more ornate earrings are really heavy and thus painful. But the material that Alexis Bittar uses is so lightweight that you barely realize you are wearing earrings. It's awesome.

Mad Men in Rome

I am not a huge fan of January Jones - the actress or her character on Mad Men - but I absolutely LOVED her outfit in last week's episode. This is the outfit that she wore during the Rome sequence of the show.

It's just so chic. The shoes, dress, jewelry, even the 60s hair just work so well together. I'm inspired!


Here's to hoping that the show has more European sequences so that we can see more awesome clothes!!

What's Awesome Now? My New Sunglasses

So I bought an awesome pair of new sunglasses. They are burgundy - such a fun color!

I swear when I put them on I hear Fergie's Glamorous in my head.

And yes, Mike will tell me that they are so big I disappear when I wear them. And Lori will tell me that I look like a bug. BUT I DO NOT CARE.

They make me feel awesome. And that's all that matters.
